Shirkat

Evocative of styles that are not traditionally Kashmiri but of other cultures, this collection depicts flowers and motifs that are quintessentially Kashmiri. It is at once foreign and local. The use of the mihrab for inspiration, the flower beds of the gardens, the flowers that grow there are some of the ways this collection is reminiscent of Kashmir.
