Knots & Crosses - Papier Mache Game
Inspired by noughts and crosses that’s played by the locals outdoors in Kashmir sometimes even on gravestones, using coloured pieces of brick. The flowers from the graves Iris and Ashk-e-Maryam are the motifs in the squares on the game. Each set is hand painted by a master craftsperson or naqash.
This game is made of saaktha or papier mache and and budloo wood or West Himalayan Silver Fir and hand painted by a master craftsperson or naqash.
